What are the best business ideas?

What are the best business ideas?

We all want to go into online businesses because it will give us flexibility, time to spend with family but that can't be where we start but can be where you end.  If you really want all those things, you need learn to dig deep into what your customers really want and put their needs first. Only by factoring your customers into your system can you turn your dream or passion into a real business that’ll make you money.

Living a laptop lifestyle, is it really possible? If you have been inspired and dreaming of trading in your monotonous 9-5’s and free yourself of the corporate chains in pursuit of an idealistic lifestyle of sipping fresh coconut water whilst productively tapping away on our laptop on a Thai Island, you might be questioning how attainable the laptop lifestyle is and is it really as glamorous and carefree as it sounds? There is the assumption that living a laptop lifestyle was enjoying daily lie ins (no commute), taking leisurely lunch breaks and of course carrying out errands and activities usually reserved for weekends. The irony is that working from a Villa on an island meant there was a huge pressure to earn enough to sustain and improve your lifestyle. There are no lie ins, lunch breaks or even early clock offs. You would regularly work 12-hour days or more, including weekends. It won't feel like work in the same sense going to an office did because you are so passionate about growing your brand. The Laptop Lifestyle can mean different things to different people, for example you might just want to generate £1000 a month from minimal work to help fund backpacking around the world whereas another person might want to focus on making tens of thousands of pounds from it while they stay in their hometown playing golf and enjoying their lives and another person might just want to replace ‘working for a boss’ for a business of their own that gives them more freedom than money. The Laptop Lifestyle is very much possible today and will only get more possible overtime as technology and business methods evolve and change with new ones being created daily. The world is changing and getting more money and freedom by working online is very possible but   ‘you need to set your stall out right from the beginning’. I guess she used to work on a market but what she meant is that if you want something you cannot start haphazardly, you need to get the foundations right, do good quality work whatever it is you do and be disciplined and stick to the plan. Having a plan and building up the business is the way forward to a successful business, get that right and there is no reason that you could not be working and earning from wherever you chose using only your laptop.

3 Paradigm Shifts: How I learned to attract my dream clients, build my list and sell my high end programs! I still remember what it was like... Heading to a corporate job every day that was slowly draining the life out of me. I knew I had to get out, but my corporate salary was very comfortable. Would I be able to earn enough in my own business to meet or exceed my current salary? Perhaps that’s where you are right now. And if it is, let me just say, I understand. I understand what it feels like to know you were created for something more than punching a time card. I know the desire to travel all too well, to want to spend more time with your loved ones and to have an income that allows you to be generous while doing so. I understand the frustration of feeling like I’ll never be able to build my business while working my “day job” in the corporate world – there are only so many hours in the day. But perhaps you’re like me in believing that work should be something you love, not something you loath. The average woman will spend 90,360 hours of their life in a day job – unless she chooses something different. I don’t know about you, but just hearing that number is soul crushing. That was why in June of 2015, I pushed all my hesitancies aside and I decided to go for it. I committed to creating my own freedom-based business – even though I was still working a 9-5. How did things turn out? Within 90 days, I hit my first 8K month. Less than two months later, I turned in my resignation. Yes, you heard me correctly. After committing to myself to go for it, I was able to ditch my day job in less than 6 months so I could pursue work I love. And I’m here to tell you that you too can do that same. If you want to learn more about how I was able to achieve this, I chronicled the 8 steps I followed to earn my first 8K Month (while still in my 9-5). You can learn exactly what those exact 8 steps were by downloading a free copy of my checklist here.

	 8 Steps Checklist
You might think my story is unique, but it’s not. In fact, there are many women out there like you and I who are now living their dream lifestyle while doing work they love in their own freedom-based business. They all have different skills and different dreams, but what we share is that we’ve followed a proven path to success. I no longer have 8K months – instead, I’m consistently earning 10-20K a month, my partner has resigned from his corporate job and we are heading to Bali to live life on our terms. All while doing work that gives me life. As I followed those 8 steps to professional success and personal freedom, I encountered three major paradigm shifts in the process. These radical changes in my belief system proved to be the difference makers for me. If you’re ready to embrace something better for your life,  understanding these three mindset shifts will prove to be essential.

Paradigm Shift One: A Winning Mindset is One That Needs Practice Whether you’re addressing your money mindset or removing your limiting beliefs, believing things once does not make them “stick”. Knowing you have something of value to offer does not internalize the thought that you’re worth it and what you’re embarking on is worth it. You’ll need to know in the pit of your stomach that no matter what, you can do this. Otherwise, what happens to that belief when things don’t go as planned? Will you quit? Give up? Move on to the next shiny-object or promise for a more fulfilling life? There is tenacity and a dedication needed to succeed – and while that can be learned – for it to remain in the forefront of your mind, it must be practiced. By actively working on my mindset and developing an ongoing mindset ritual, I was able to overcome doubts when they came up. When I needed to make a short-term sacrifice with my free time to gain a greater long-term goal of freedom, I was able to make this decision willingly and positively. Every day, the world sends us messages that work is hard, that money is difficult to come by, and that we’ll experience scarcity or lack unless we compromise. Protecting my mind by developing a positive and affirming mindset practice allowed me to push through any unforeseen challenges when they came up. What are you currently doing to work on your mindset and open yourself up to the belief that you really can do work you love? If you haven’t started yet, here’s something simple you can begin to implement into your daily routine. Visit YouTube and look up messages by the likes of Bob Proctor, Tony Robbins, or Napoleon Hill. Commit to listening to 20 minutes of affirming messages every single day and after some time, your mind will subconsciously begin to shift as it starts to believe what it’s hearing. This may sound overly simplistic, but commit to this ritual and watch what happens. Another way I create an uplifting mindset is by reading daily (for at least 30 minutes). Books I suggest are,  Think and Grow Rich by Wallace D Wattles, The Law of Divine Compensation by Marianne Williamson and Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker. Paradigm Shift Two: In Order to Grow, It is Necessary to Invest in Myself Before I committed myself to building my freedom-based business, I dabbled in a lot of “make money online” offers. I genuinely thought I could build my business alone. I was very wrong! When I ended up back in a corporate job after 3 months of the business guessing game, I knew I had to do what all successful entrepreneurs do – invest in myself and business. I didn’t have an extra $10,000 sitting in my bank account for professional coaching, and going into debt seemed like a recipe that would keep me in my corporate job even longer. There was always a good reason why not to invest, so at first I didn’t. But now that I’m consistently earning 30 – 40K each and every month , I feel it’s only fair to be brutally honest with you. My fortune (and my mindset) radically shifted the second I began to invest in myself. The investment became an internal commitment to jump all in – to no longer delay the lifestyle I knew I was born to live.  My coach not only provided advanced business building strategies that I would not have known otherwise, she became a mirror of accountability to me. My mindset practices improved as she helped me recognize and overcome limiting beliefs that were holding me back. I was given a proven plan to follow on how to build my business that I didn’t need to think about or analyze, which was hugely beneficial to me while I was working in my 9-to-5. My time was my most valuable asset, so rather than search for something that “might” work, I was able to focus on following a proven plan of success. As my time was so valuable, I also invested in outsourcing as much as I could as soon as I could. This, too, was an investment in me. I was able to focus more of my time on money-making activities (such as making sales and coaching women) rather than spend all my time behind a screen learning how to program a website or design a logo. The more focused I became with my time - doing only the work I loved - the faster I was able to generate income. And the faster I was able to generate income, the faster I was able to escape corporate! Outsourcing actually helped my mindset practice, because doing more of the things I loved and less of the things I didn’t allowed me to become more and more alive. I felt better, freer, and it helped me attract in more of my clients - further growing my business. Paradigm Shift Three: I Realized I Get to Choose the Life I Want This may sound somewhat obvious, but it’s unbelievable how few people understand the significance of choice. When working in the corporate world, the reality was that my boss set goals for me. If I did not meet those goals, I would no longer have a job. I was being paid to complete tasks - to perform. But as an entrepreneur, I was given the incredible gift of choice. I am now able to choose who I want to work with. One of my first business-building tasks was to understand who my ideal client was and how I could best serve them. I realized at that time that I wanted to work with women like myself – women who were stuck in corporate jobs but longed to ditch their 9-to-5. And the more I began to understand my ideal client and how I could serve them, I found myself feeling more free to say no to things that were not fulfilling to me and I started to attract my dream clients effortlessly. I recognized the absolute important of knowing your ideal client better than they know themselves. In fact this is the very foundation on which your message, package and branding will be built. Until you know your ideal client, it is very difficult to sell packages they can’t wait to buy. This did more than just affect my business – it changed my world. After signing my resignation, I became able to choose which hours I worked and set a schedule that was most comfortable to me. I’m now able to travel as I choose and my “office” is the anywhere with a wi-fi connection. I am able to spend more time with those I love, and politely move away from others I no longer care to interact with. Life can change very quickly when you commit to living your dream life NOW, not 10 years from now. I want you to pause for a minute and start thinking about your life a year from now. Where are you working? Are you happy that you’re there? Are you able to pursue the things that bring you joy? If being stuck in the same place next year that you are now is not and option, I want you to download my free checklist “8 Steps to 8K Months (While Still Working Your 9-to-5)”. Take some uninterrupted time and read it, then follow the steps yourself. My “guide” to success is all right there in those pages. There really is no magic bullet and no other secret - just follow an already proven path so you can do work you love by building a freedom-based business that allows you to kiss your corporate job goodbye. If you loved this blog post, I'd love it if you shared with your friends! Click the "Share" button below and encourage those you love how they too can kiss corporate goodbye in 6 Months or less.

What Does A Business Coach Do? The main purpose of a business coach is to offer support and guidance that will save you valuable time and money, when it comes to creating and nurturing a profitable business.  A business coach works with you to develop the skills you already have. They work to bring out the “best” of you. Business Coaching is a relationship. It’s a place where you go for guidance, support, and challenge so you can figure out what’s in the way of creating the business you want. A business coach is somebody who helps you move from where you are to where you want to be, and does so by solely focusing on your goals. You’ll never really know what you’re capable of until there’s someone to push you outside your comfort zone. Just ask any professional athlete.  If you are not clear on your vision, then every single opportunity will distract you and impede your progress Top business coaches also address mindset issues such as: limiting beliefs, fear and self sabotage (which are extremely important to address). They also provide support and accountability to ensure that you’re following through on your action steps! Overall, the result is you having a “plan of action” for your business (after brainstorming), and your coach will support you as you implement it. Many entrepreneurs will be able to relate to this scenario: you come up with a good idea, decide to pursue it and suddenly you have to get an expert in sales, HR, IT and even finances. It's little surprise that many entrepreneurs often feel overwhelmed and unprepared. While an entrepreneur can (and often do it alone), an option that is not considered by many is that of a business coach. Traditionally business coaches were asked to come on board when the wheels were literally coming off the bus, if at all. That has changed, many entrepreneurs are starting to seek out the help of a coach when they are feeling stuck, or are looking to fully unlock theirs and their business' potential. Coaches help to brainstorm A business coach helps you develop your purpose, brainstorms with you and motivates you in your business. There’s a common saying that goes, “nobody is smarter than all of us.” In other words, the collective power of many is far superior to the single power of one, which speaks to the value a coach brings in brainstorming new ideas. The “art” part, however, is excavating personal values and beliefs that you never knew existed and linking them to your desires and intentions. Sometimes it takes a new perspective to see an existing connection. A business coach is someone to bounce ideas off Nowhere else do you find somebody solely dedicated to acting as your own personal sounding board. A coach, well, a top business coach,  pushes out all thoughts from his or her own brain to be present and just listen. Doing so allows the business coach to ask powerful questions that unearth deeply rooted values otherwise firmly planted. A business coach holds you accountable Isn't it strange how easy it is to break the promises we make to ourselves, but less so when we involve other people? A coach serves as an accountability partner who challenges you to strategize and develop your goals while aligning your efforts toward achieving them. A business coach offers guidance every step of the way A business coach will challenge your thinking, goals and willingness to grow. As somebody who has “been there, done that,” a coach also acts as a role model because of the experience that he or she shares. Additionally, a coach has unique insight that broadens your business awareness. Every athlete and every top performer uses a coach to bring out their best. Why don’t you?

How to effectively balance work, life and building a business Are you living the dream, or are you living a hectic nightmare? Unfortunately, work-life balance appears to be the bane of almost every entrepreneur. But being overworked isn't healthy for anyone: It can lead to a number of health problems, most notably stress-induced issues like insomnia and heart disease. Struggling with achieving a work-life balance that idyllic, elusive goal of working manageable hours (9 to 5, anyone?), having free time to spend with loved ones and on personally fulfilling activities, and, on top of all that, getting enough sleep, healthy meals and exercise to maintain a well-rounded life. Many people start their own businesses to escape the rat race and create their own reality, one that includes determining their own schedule and spending ample time doing the things they love. For small-business owners, however, work-life balance isn’t so straightforward. Especially as their business is growing, many owners find themselves immersed in the day-to-day needs of their business from finding and hiring talent to market the opportunities. It’s hard to break away even for an hour, much less take a vacation. How can you achieve the dream? Use Scheduling Tools Forget the rigid work schedule, rather, use various scheduling tools to fit everything into your day as needed. Technology is a great help, use phone calendars, email reminders and mobile reminders to manoeuvre your way to each meeting, event and party. Outsource Work Perfect for a one-person operation, the secret to time management is to outsource all non-revenue-generating tasks, including administrative work, website maintenance and social media posts. Outsourcing provides the time to focus on growing your business and keep a manageable schedule that allows you to have a personal life. Hire the right people Having the right people in your business will make a huge difference in your family life, allowing you to take vacations and days off when needed. Prioritizing Personal Life Learn to take a step back with your work schedule and make family and personal time a priority. There’s no overarching secret to balancing work time with personal time, except making it a priority. You have to take care of yourself first, or everything else gets out of whack. Don't be perfect The key to avoiding burning out is to let go of perfectionism. As life gets more expanded it’s very hard, both neurologically and psychologically, to keep that habit of perfection going. Make quality time true quality time and unplug Technology has helped our lives in many ways. But it has also created expectations of constant accessibility. That phone notifications interrupt your off time and inject an undercurrent of stress in your system. So don’t text at your kid’s soccer game and don’t send work emails while you’re hanging out with family.

Are you really a PROCRASTINATOR?

    Are you really a PROCRASTINATOR?

I hate labels, I hate people putting themselves in "boxes" and it saddens me when individuals stay stuck in that mindset because of the thoughts and beliefs they feed themselves constantly. I know hate is a strong word but I have decided I do feel very strongly about this!

Take a moment to think about all of those things you say to yourself. Do any of these resonate with you? "I am lazy and never get what I need to do done," " I will never have a successful business" "I will never get the clients I desire" or "I will never really quit my 9-5." These thought patterns stay on repeat like a really bad song and we actually believe them so much so, that it becomes our reality. We become more lazy, we feel more tired and we start doing less to build our business and attract the clients we desire so we stay stuck in jobs we dislike for a lot longer than necessary.
